Security Specialists Get Control have launched a CCTV product that links into a variety of Electronic Point of Sale systems through software to reduce system cost. In line with this development, Get Control have just completed a large CCTV linked POS System into the brand new China White Nightclub and Restaurant, which saw royalty visit at the grand opening in London's Winsley Street.
Get Control sees linked low cost CCTV to Point of Sale is a natural progression in security and customer experience management. Darren Brown at Get Control commented, "Everyone knows CCTV is a deterrent to crimes such as robbery and violence to customers and employees. For that reason, CCTV helps to ensure staff feel secure and reduces fear of crime. However, CCTV assists in supporting employee management. Some may have a negative view that CCTV wears away staff privacy. On the contrary, most employees welcome it as they see it protects them and the business. CCTV can be used to identify the needs of employees and assist in spotting good and bad practices - all of which are important in helping to meet and exceed customer expectations, crucial in times or recession".
Nick Turner-Brown, of Get Control states that security shouldn't be ignored. "Security in the hospitality sector is becoming more important; the public have access into the business daily, so the industry is susceptible to crime. Some hospitality enterprises are losing 10% plus due to theft". |
